APP offices sealed after employee tests positive for COVID-19
The Associated Press of Pakistan's offices in Islamabad have been sealed after a COVID-19 case was reported. Employees are now required to work from home during this period.

ISLAMABAD—Deputy Commissioner Islamabad on Friday sealed for three days (April 24-27) the offices of the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) located at Zero Point after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

"All the employees of fixed duty hours, skeleton staff of Reporters/Sub-Editors will now work from home," an office circular said. "All News sections at APP Islamabad shall remain out of bound for all editorial and associate staff."

The Journalist community had expressed concern over having to work in the offices amid a spike in corona cases.
