Anwar Iqbal appointed chairman of NPC office in Washington D.C.
The National Press Club has appointed Anwar Iqbal as chairman at their new Washington D.C. office. This office aims to advocate for the welfare of Pakistani journalists.

ISLAMABAD – The National Press Club has appointed senior journalist Anwar Iqbal as the chairman of its new office in Washington D.C.

A statement from the club secretary, Shakeel Anjum said the office will look after the interests of Pakistani journalists in Washington and will work for their welfare.

Nasir Zaidi, another senior journalist was named as the coordinator in Pakistan.

Iqbal is already based in the U.S. and reports out of Wahington D.C. for Dawn.
