Anti-terrorism court grants bail to Mohsin Baig
Journalist Mohsin Baig has been granted post-arrest bail by an anti-terrorism court in Islamabad. The bail was set at Rs5 million following a court hearing.

ISLAMABAD—An anti-terrorism court (ATC) has granted post-arrest bail to journalist Mohsin Baig against the surety bonds of Rs5 million.

ATC Judge Mohammad Ali Warriach heard the post-arrest bail. The court reserved judgment on completing the parties' arguments and later granted bail to the senior journalist.

Subsequently, the local police also invoked a section of Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) and sections of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).

The case was registered against Baig at Margalla Police Station after a raid by FIA at his residence, during which Baig had allegedly roughed up security officials.
