Anchor Mishal Bukhari dies of cancer
Mishal Bukhari, a distinguished anchorperson, died from cancer at the age of 38. She was recognized for her impactful career in journalism, which spanned 15 years.

LAHORE—Prominent anchorperson Mishal Bukhari died of cancer on Tuesday. She was 38.

Born in Karachi in July 1984, she had a master's degree in public communication from the University of Punjab.

Ms. Bukhari, the wife of anchorperson Amir Abbas, began her journalism work as a sub-editor for Express newspaper magazine.

With 15 years of professional experience, she established herself as a seasoned journalist.

The journalist community has mourned Ms. Bukhari's untimely death.
