Abb Takk pays off fine to PEMRA

ISLAMABAD - Abb Takk Television has paid off a fine of Rs100,000 to Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) for airing indecent language during a live talk show in October 2015.

The fine was slapped last month after the channel let derogatory remarks go on air during the program Tonight with Fereeha, hosted by Fereeha Idrees. It was also punished for not having time-delay mechanism in place. PEMRA said Abb Takk had already aired an apology.
