Aamir Liaquat back home: BOL News
Aamir Liaquat has returned to Pakistan after a brief detention in Myanmar. He was accompanied by Waqar Zaka during their reporting on the Rohingya crisis.

ISLAMABAD – Prominent anchor Aamir Liaquat, arrested briefly by Myanmar immigration authorities Saturday, has returned home.

BOL News reported Sunday that he had returned to Pakistan. It did not say if he was deported.

Waqar Zaka, a television program host, who accompanied Liaquat has also returned. Reports Saturday said he was detained too.

Both individuals went to Myanmar to report on the plight of Rohingya Muslims who are in deep trouble.

Liaquat hosts the program Aisay Nahin Chalay Ga on BOL News.

Earlier Saturday, BOL reported that immigration authorities had questioned Liaquat about his tweets and his programs.
