A string of postings and transfers in PTV
Pakistan Television has enacted a series of immediate transfers and postings within its departments. Key figures in current affairs and news have been reassigned to new roles.

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Television on Friday ordered a string of transfers and postings with immediate effect.

Ms. Rafat Nazir, Director Current Affairs and Director Training Academy (officiating) was appointed as director news (officiating).

The managers assigned Mussadiq Khan, General Manager PTV News the additional charge of director current affairs (officiating).

Ms. Shazia Sikandar, Director News has been appointed the director of international relations.

Shahid Imran Rashid, Head of Current Affairs got transferred from PTV News to PTV Academy and posted as controller sports with an additional charge of general manager PTV Academy/Sports, Islamabad.

Abdul Rashid Khan, Deputy Controller Current Affairs was transferred from PTV Headquarters to PTV News, Islamabad and posted as head of current affairs (officiating).

Mirza Rashid Baig, Controller Production Training Academy has been asked to move from PTV Academy and posted as controller news at PTV News, Islamabad.

Abdur Rashid, General Manager PTV Academy/Sports was posted as officer Group 9 of admin and personnel cadre at PTV Academy/Sports, Islamabad.
