  92 News journalist Fakhruddin Syed dies of coronavirus in Peshawar

PESHAWAR— Fakhruddin Syed, a reporter at 92 News Television died of coronavirus on Thursday morning at the Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC). He left behind a widow and two daughters to mourn his death.

According to Dawn, Syed's health had improved after plasma therapy but deteriorated on Wednesday night, after which the doctors put him on a ventilator.

"Syed was as dutiful and hardworking, and 92 News will always remember his services and will not leave his family alone," his employers said.

Syed served in various positions at the Peshawar Press Club, Khyber Union of Journalists (KhUJ), and Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ).
