Journalists Under Attack

 Published 11 years ago:  Protesters reportedly belonging to PTI and PAT launched another assault on Geo Television offices near the Red Zone. Stones were hurled, damaging the all-glass building. Despite repeated attacks, law enforcement did not protect the journalists inside.

 Published 11 years ago:  The Islamabad offices of Geo News were targeted in an early morning attack by workers affiliated with Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT). The incident, resulted in significant damage to the building and a DSNG van.

Cameramen from Samaa TV, Dunya News, and DawnNews Television, along with others from ARY, KTN, and NewsOne, were injured and had equipment damaged during the violence.
