KARACHI – Law enforcers on Saturday raided the home of Nasrullah Khan Chaudhry, a journalist with Urdu-language newspaper Nai Baat and detained him.
Dawn.com quoting Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ Dastoor) and Karachi Union of Journalists (Dastoor) reported on Sunday his whereabouts were not known.
A PFUJ meeting at the Karachi Press Club expressed concern over Chaudhry’s ‘illegal detention’, terming it an attack on press freedom.

On November 8, about a dozen armed men in plain clothes had raided the Karachi Press Club. They harassed journalists, made videos and took pictures of the premises.
Reports said they came in about half a dozen double cabin vehicles, Land Cruisers, and Pardos and were accompanied by a police mobile van.
