Journalist Jameer Mahir attacked, injured in Shikarpur
Jameer Mahir, Vice President of Shikarpur Union of Journalists, was attacked and injured in Taluka Lakhi Ghulam Shah. He was taken to Sukkur Headquarters Hospital for treatment.

ISLAMABAD—Vice President of Shikarpur Union of Journalists, Jameer Mahir was seriously injured in an attack by unknown assailants in Taluka Lakhi Ghulam Shah and shifted to Sukkur Headquarters Hospital Tuesday.

Reports said that unknown attackers opened indiscriminate fire on Mahir as he headed home. He sustained serious injuries. Police and others rushed to the spot and rushed him to hospital.

Saleem Sahito, President of Sukkur Union of Journalist, expressed concern over the incident and demanded security from the government.
