QUETTA - Adnan Aamir, Editor of Balochistan Point, the only English language online newspaper from the province, has resigned. According to a post on his blog, he quit as he plans to start his own online newspaper soon. He was with Balochistan Point for about an a year and a half. It was established in 2010 to highlight news stories often ignored by mainstream media. The paper was dormant and not widely known before Aamir took over in July 2014. Aamir said: “I am thankful to Balochistan Point for providing me the platform which enabled me to be a recognized face in online journalism in Balochistan.”
