ISLAMABAD - Daily Jang Thursday reported an attempt by unknown armed persons to enter the home of Saleem Safi, who hosts program Jirga on Geo News.
During the bid, the security guard outside Safi’s home on Nazimuddin Road in Islamabad was injured.
The paper said two young men on a motorcycle arrived at Safi’s home at 1:00 am. They tossed a brick at the security guard and as he fell his gun went off, forcing the unknown attackers to flee.
According to the police, the attackers took away the magazine of a 7mm gun.
