Friday Times website hacked
The Friday Times website has been under hacker attack since February 4. Chief editor Najam Sethi announced the incident and efforts to restore the site.

ISLAMABAD: Najam Sethi has said that the website of his newspaper – The Friday Times (TFT) – is under attack by hackers and down since February 4.

In a tweet on Friday, he said: “The Friday Times website is under attack by hackers. We are trying to restore it. Thank you for your support and understanding.”

Sehti is the chief editor of The Friday Times.

The website was hacked last week.

Earlier in a tweet on February 4, Sethi had said that “The Friday Times website thefridaytimes.com has been suspended following a hacker posting malicious content under our banner. We shall be back soon.”
