Win up to $5000: AIPS calls for submissions to 2025 Sports Media Awards
The International Sports Press Association has launched the 8th AIPS Sport Media Awards, inviting entries from global sports journalists. Winners can receive up to $5000 and a trophy, with a special scholarship category for young reporters under 30.

LAUSANNE — The International Sports Press Association (AIPS) has opened submissions for the 8th edition of the AIPS Sport Media Awards — the highest global honour in sports journalism. Entries are welcome from journalists, photographers, and broadcasters worldwide.

Each participant can submit up to two entries published or broadcast between November 5, 2024, and November 4, 2025, across categories in writing, photography, video, and audio. Winners receive trophies and up to USD 5,000. Young Reporters (under 30) can compete for a career-boosting scholarship.

“This prestigious competition celebrates impactful storytelling that brings sport to life,” AIPS noted.

Finalists will be announced in early 2026, with a podium ceremony set for April 2026 in Lausanne.
