Fahd Husain angered by inclusion of his name on official list
Fahd Husain, a prominent journalist, is angered by the unauthorized inclusion of his name on a list of experts for speaking about Afghanistan. He has demanded removal from the list, questioning its authenticity.

ISLAMABAD—Dawn newspaper's resident editor and DawnNews TV anchor Fahd Husain has shown extreme anger, and displeasure over including his name in a list of Pakistani experts recommended to speak to foreign media on Afghanistan.

"...No one took my consent & no one took permission to add my name to it [the list]", he said on Twitter, emphasizing that "I have no interest to be on any official list of speakers." "Whoever made this list must remove my name from it," he demanded.

According to the letter currently viral on social media, the National Security Division (NSD) has recommended nine Pakistani journalists for their expert opinion on Afghanistan. "These experts may be contacted with local media for maximum dissemination of Pakistan'sPakistan's narrative regarding Afghanistan," the letter stated. Other experts included in the list are Jalil Abbas Jillani, Aizaz Chaudhry, Mosharraf Zaidi, Hina Rabbani Khar, Khurshid Kasuri, Simbal Khan, Rabia Akhtar, and Ejaz Haider.

However, there is also a question mark on the authenticity of the said letter as, according to some social media users, it is ''fake,'' and no government institution has issued the list.
