IWMF offers funding opportunities for female journalists worldwide

Female journalists around the world are invited to apply for the Howard G. Buffett Fund, offered through the International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF). This fund aims to support female journalists in their reporting projects and professional development opportunities.

The fund welcomes journalistic work across all media formats, including print, digital, broadcast, audio, video, photography, and new media. Both freelance and staff journalists of any nationality are eligible to apply, provided they have at least one year of professional journalism experience.

The IWMF accepts applications from individual women and nonbinary journalists, as well as teams of journalists. For more information, visit the IWMF website.
