Balochistan journos in Islamabad, visit APP

ISLAMABAD: A 15-member delegation of journalists from Balochistan on Tuesday visited the offices of Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) and received a briefing on its functioning.

APP Managing Director Muhammad Khalid Sarwar welcomed the delegation and briefed them on news dissemination. He informed them about the professional capability of the news agency, particularly with reference to its various news services including English, Urdu, Pashto and VNS.

 

Director News APP Naeem Chaudhry briefed the journalists about the functioning of different wings of the organization, including District Desk and VNS. He informed them about working of district correspondents at different districts and steps being taken to improve the service.

Director Information Technology APP Ghawas Khan apprised the visitors about the organization’s aims, objectives and vision of the organization.
