Several major news websites faced outages on Tuesday, disrupting access for users worldwide. Websites such as CNN and the Financial Times displayed error messages due to technical issues.

ISLAMABAD—Prominent international news websites, including CNN, BBC, the Financial Times, the Guardian, New York Times, Bloomberg and others, were hit by global outages due to technical issues on Tuesday.

Messages such as “Error 503 Service Unavailable” and “connection failure” appeared on the websites of CNN, the Financial Times and The Guardian. Reportedly, the official website of France's Le Monde newspaper was also down.

Several social media platforms, such as Reddit, were also affected. The BBC, New York Times and Bloomberg News were temporarily inaccessible.
