Waseem Abbasi, an investigative journalist with The News, has been selected for the Humphery Fellowship for 2016-2017. This prestigious award allows him to study at the University of Maryland, making him the only journalist from Pakistan to receive this honor.

ISLAMABAD - Waseem Abbasi, an investigative journalist at The News in Islamabad has won the prestigious Fulbright’s Humphery Fellowship for 2016-2017. He will be studying at the University of Maryland, College Park.
