ISLAMABAD – A three-member Supreme Court bench Tuesday set aside all contempt notices to chairman PEMRA by the Sindh High Court and issued notices to Labbaik Private Ltd (BOL News) to appear before the court on February 6.
The order comes following an appeal filed by PEMRA against an order of SHC which had granted stay to BOL against the regulator’s order of banning Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s program Aisay Nahi Chalay Ga until a decision by its Council of Complaints.
The Supreme Court bench comprises Justice Amir Hani Muslim, Justice Mushir Alam and Justice Mazhar Alam Khan Miankhel.
