Shahzad Iqbal to replace Talat Hussain on Geo
Shahzad Iqbal is set to take over from Talat Hussain on Geo News after Hussain announced his departure. Iqbal brings eight years of media experience and a strong background in finance and marketing.

ISLAMABAD – Shahzad Iqbal, presently with Samaa TV is set to replace Talat Hussain on Geo News.

Both presenters are serving their respective notice periods through November.

Shahzad Iqbal who hosts the primetime program Awaz on Samaa has eight years of experience in the electronic media.

With a degree in finance and marketing, he has hosted programs on economic issues, stock market, and performance of the corporate sector.

Iqbal has also hosted primetime shows on other networks during his career.

Talat announced on Friday that he is parting ways with Geo, almost four years after joining them from Aaj News.
