PTI's Rauf Hasan puts Waseem Badami on the back foot
Rauf Hasan made a notable TV appearance as PTI's information secretary, asserting his professionalism in response to a controversial question. He emphasized the importance of handling media matters with decorum.

ISLAMABAD - In what was likely his first appearance on TV since assuming his new role, Rauf Hasan, the newly appointed information secretary for the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), confidently handled an unexpected situation, putting prominent anchor Waseem Badami on the back foot.

During Badami's show, 11th Hour, the host asked his guest if he was the brother of Fawad Hasan Fawad, a trusted principal secretary of Nawaz Sharif and also closely associated with Shahbaz Sharif. "Inappropriate question," Hasan responded promptly. "I stand by my convictions, and my brother has nothing to do with my convictions." Hasan further expressed that he found the question a "very inappropriate way to start the program" and emphasized the importance of handling matters professionally. In his defense, Badami expressed surprise that his question was deemed inappropriate and acknowledged that Hassan had the right to move on. Hasan made it clear that he would not answer that particular question. The incident showcased Rauf Hasan's firm stand for professionalism and his ability to handle unexpected situations with composure.
