ISLAMABAD—Pakistan on Wednesday sought a reply from the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) for publishing a "fake and fabricated" news story about the Prime Minister's House, Geo News reported.
The director-general of BBC received a complaint filed by Pakistan against BBC Urdu, the broadcaster confirmed. On the complaint, the BBC has started looking into the matter.
On April 10, BBC Urdu published a story related to an unpleasant meeting between then-PM Khan and COAS Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa at the PM House, carrying details contradictory to the facts and journalistic values, the ISPR and other stakeholders said.
