Imtiaz Alam terms PTI trolls illiterate

ISLAMABAD - An angry Imtiaz Alam has termed the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf as the “most disgustingly stupid party that we are faced with.”

He is not happy with the party’s trolls. In a tweet, he complained: “These trolls of PTI and their ignorant guides are so illiterate that they don’t know what to say except abuses or spread fake answers. This is the most disgustingly stupid party that we are faced with.”

Alam, a veteran journalist, and analyst has a long history of problems with the PTI supporters.

Imtiaz Gul, another analyst, tried to remind Alam that trolling has always been part of Pakistani politics. He said in the 1990s Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz distributed private pictures of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and her family.

“You have forgotten the private video/pics and stories on Benazir Bhutto that the Muslim League and the other league together had distributed two decades ago? Yes, there was no private electronic or social media then.”
