ISLAMABAD – The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Saturday unearthed an illegal telephone gateway being used to make calls to threaten and blackmail journalists and media houses.

According to reports the FIA conducted a joint raid at Safari Villas in Bahria Town following a tip off from a premier civilian agency, and arrested the gang running the gateway. The number of arrests made was not immediately known. Further investigations are on and it is being said some big names might be involved.
