ISLA MABAD – Dr. Shaista Lodhi has returned to Geo with her new program Subah Pakistan that will be shown on Geo Entertainment.
She had been away from the television screen for nearly three years, running into problems after hurting religious sentiments of Muslims during one of her programs in 2014.
She publicly apologized for the blunder saying any offence was inadvertent and unintentional. Geo TV also separately apologized and suspended some members of Utho Jago Pakistan program’s production team back then.
The News quoted Dr. Shaista as saying Sunday it is a refreshing feeling to return to Geo. “For me coming to Geo is like coming home.”
