COVID-19 vaccination center inaugurated at NPC Pindi camp office
A new vaccination center for journalists has opened at the National Press Club in Rawalpindi. The inauguration was attended by Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, emphasizing the need for health measures for media personnel.

RAWALPINDI—A COVID-19 vaccination center for journalists has been set up at the Rawalpindi camp office of National Press Club (NPC). Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Punjab, was the chief guest at Monday’s inauguration ceremony.

“Journalists are the frontline force in tackling this crisis,” she said while addressing the event. According to her, preventive measures are essential for taking care of journalists and their families. A large number of journalists were present.

The center will operate from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm seven days a week. For the convenience of the journalists and their families, the government healthcare teams will be present at the press club camp office.
