APP Employees Union elects new body in Sindh
The APP Employees Union has successfully elected new leadership for the upcoming term. Salahuddin Abbasi emerged as the president, defeating his opponent from the Ittehad Panel.

KARACHI—APP Employees (CBA) Union Sindh has elected new office-bearers for 2022-23, the voting was held simultaneously in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, and Larkana.

According to poll results, Salahuddin Abbasi of the Democratic Panel defeated Ittehad Panel’s Ghulam Mustafa Aziz for the position of president.

Abdul Sattar Qureshi of the Ittehad Panel was elected general secretary, outnumbering Democrat’s Ashiq Hussain Saand.

Shahid Sheikh, Dr. Sahib Oad, Nisar Ahmed Sheikh, and Faheem Ahmed, all belonging to Democrats, were elected as vice president, joint secretary, press secretary, and treasurer, respectively defeating their opponents.

On eight seats of the managing committee, the Democratic Panel saw their six members elected, while two contestants of the Ittehad Panel also won seats on the committee.
