Sami Ibrahim joins BOL as director news, senior anchor

ISLAMABAD – Prominent ARY News presenter and analyst Sami Ibrahim has joined BOL TV as director news and senior anchor.

Ibrahim did not host the ARY News program The Reporters Monday. His colleagues on the show announced he was on his way to the U.S.

However, a source tells JournalismPakistan.com, that until Monday evening, he was in Islamabad.

Ibrahim, a vocal critic of the PML-N government had joined ARY in April 2015. Before that, he hosted a current affairs program, “Tajzia with Sami Ibrahim,” on Channel 24.

Sami had joined Dunya News in 2011 after a long stint in the US with Geo Television. He has worked for several newspapers and appears as an analyst in numerous television talk shows.
