Daily Express journalist Muhammad Younis shot dead in Shorkot

ISLAMABAD—Unidentified assailants gunned down journalist Muhammad Younis, President of Shorkot Press Club, on Saturday.

Dawn reported that Younis, who worked for Daily Express newspaper, was targeted on his motorcycle heading to his farmland at Mouza Manganwala.

The paper said that two shooters hiding in a field sprayed bullets at him dead on the spot.

The local police have started probing the incident.
