ARY reporter shot dead in Balochistan
Abdul Haq Baloch, a reporter for ARY TV, was shot dead in Balochistan by unidentified gunmen. The motive for the killing remains unclear.

ISLAMABAD: Abdul Haq Baloch, a reporter of ARY TV was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the restive Balochistan province Saturday.

He was attacked by two gunmen on a motorcycle near the local press club at Chakar Khan Road at 7.30 pm. The motive of the killing could not be ascertained.

ARY TV said Baloch was heading home when he was attacked. The channel said the reporter had not received threats from anyone.

The gunmen fled after the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.

Earlier in May, Abdul Razaq Gul, 35, of Express News TV was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Turbat, Balochistan.

Abdul Qadir Hajizai a journalist for a private Balochi-language channel, Wash TV was also gunned down by men on a motorcycle in the Basima area of Washik district in the troubled province.
