PFUJ condemns robbery attempt at Imtiaz Alam's home
The Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists has condemned the second burglary attempt at Imtiaz Alam's residence in Lahore. PFUJ called for an inquiry and enhanced security for journalists.

ISLAMABAD—Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) has condemned a second burglary attempt at the residence of veteran journalist Imtiaz Alam in Lahore, which it termed alarming, and a failure of the provincial government.                           

In a joint statement, PFUJ President Shahzada Zulfiqar and Secretary-General Nasir Zaidi called for an inquiry into the incident and immediate arrest of the culprits.

They also demanded security to the journalist community so that such a situation could be avoided.
