Imtiaz Alam to launch websites, YouTube channel
Imtiaz Alam has announced the launch of two websites aimed at South Asia and Pakistan, as well as a YouTube channel. He expressed a need for volunteers and subscribers in his tweet.

ISLAMABAD: Veteran journalist Imtiaz Alam has announced launching two websites and a YouTube channel.

In a tweet, he said: "May I share with friends this information that we are in the final stage of launching two websites — one for South Asia in English and the other for Pakistan in Urdu, including other national languages — besides a UTube channel. We will soon require volunteers/reporters subscribers.”

Alam was a regular feature on Geo TV talk show before quitting last year. He claimed that most of the TV channels were afraid of inviting him on their shows.

In a rather angry tweet, he said he resigned from Geo TV and did not feel like appearing in any TV talk show as they are not worth it. “In fact, I resigned from GEO and don’t feel to appear in any TV show. Most are afraid to invite me to their shows and others invite and cancel it. So, please don’t invite me, I don’t like your TV shows. They are not worth it.”
