DW Akademie Master's Program invites applications

BONN–The DW Akademie Master's Degree program is now open for applications, offering aspiring journalists and communication professionals from around the globe an opportunity to develop their skills and take on leadership roles in the media industry.

Designed for media representatives, journalists-in-training, and communication experts, the program caters to professionals from various sectors, including radio, TV, online, print, community media, NGOs, and government entities.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree or an equivalent academic qualification.
  • Possess at least one year of professional experience in a media-related field post-graduation.

The program, conducted in English, emphasizes practical and theoretical knowledge for media professionals. It seeks participants from diverse backgrounds, including:

  • Media professionals from radio, TV, online, and print.
  • Journalists-in-training, particularly those specializing in electronic media.
  • Community radio station staff.
  • Communication experts and NGO employees.
  • Representatives from ministries, cooperative development groups, regional working groups, and national broadcasters.
  • Media association leaders.
