Resident Editor Dawn Arifa Noor quits
Arifa Noor has stepped down from her position as Resident Editor at Dawn after a seven-year tenure. She will be joining DawnNews Television for a new show.

ISLAMABAD – Arifa Noor (pictured, center), Resident Editor at Dawn Islamabad has resigned after a seven-year stint.

She informed the staff about her decision to leave through an email on Saturday, which was her last day in office.

She will now move to DawnNews Television where she will appear in a show along with Sattar Khan and Zahid Hussain.

Ms. Noor was appointed as the resident editor in 2010. She has also served as the editor of monthly Herald.

Insiders say, Zaffar Abbas, Editor Dawn will now also be looking after the affairs at the Islamabad office until a new resident editor is appointed.
