PESHAWAR—Local police have claimed to arrest three suspects allegedly involved in the murder of journalist Iftikhar Ahmed.

Reportedly, no one has claimed responsibility for the killing. However, the police suspect that personal enmity may have been the reason.

Police have registered a case under Section 302 and have formed an investigation team on the orders of the IG.

The Express News journalist was shot dead by unknown individuals on July 1 in Shabqadar tehsil, Charsadda district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
