PFUJ to protest attacks on journalists
The Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) plans a protest against Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf's attacks on journalists. The demonstration is scheduled for Tuesday at the National Press Club in Islamabad.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) will hold a protest demonstration Tuesday against Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf for attacks on journalists in Karachi and Lahore.

In a press release, the PFUJ said the decision to protest was taken following requests from the Council of Pakistan Press Clubs and Rawalpindi-Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ). The venue of the protest will be the National Press Club, Islamabad.

During PTI’s lockdown of Karachi and Lahore, some journalists from Geo News were allegedly attacked by the party’s activists.

The PFUJ has urged all working journalists to turn up at the press club for the protest.
