Shahzad Iqbal ready to go on air on Geo
Shahzad Iqbal is set to host the new show Naya Pakistan on Geo News. He takes over from Talat Hussain, who left after four years.

ISLAMABAD – Shahzad Iqbal, who has replaced Talat Hussain at Geo News will go on air on December 28.

He will host Naya Pakistan that will air Friday through Sunday daily at 8:05 pm.

Talat left the channel at the end of November after a four-year stint.

Iqbal arrives at Geo from Samaa where he hosted the show Awaz. He has eight years of experience in the electronic media.

With a degree in finance and marketing, he has hosted programs on economic issues, stock market, and performance of the corporate sector.

He also hosted primetime shows on other networks during his career.

The promo of his new show is currently being aired on Geo.
