ISLAMABAD - Caricaturist Sabir Nazar has said that Samaa TV has told him to stop making cartoons for them.
In a terse tweet, Nazar said: “Samaa.tv asked me to stop making cartoons for them...”
The cartoonist has been in the forefront in criticizing the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, especially targeting Prime Minister Imran Khan. He has had several run-ins with the trolls over his political leanings.

Commenting on this tweet, Matiullah Jan, who himself was asked to leave Waqt TV, said: “Your cartoons have formed the government and they are now in headlines. So they can no more be shown in cartoons.”
However, one tweet cited the downsizing going on at Samaa TV as the reason for Nazar being asked to stop making cartoons.
