PEMRA has prohibited Aaj TV from airing certain programs produced by foreign entities. The ban affects 'View 360' and 'Sairbeen', scheduled on weekdays.

ISLAMABAD – Electronic media regulator PEMRA has prohibited broadcast or re-broadcast of Aaj TV programs ‘View 360’ and Sairbeen with immediate effect.

The regulator said that Aaj was airing these programs produced by foreign entities unlawfully and without its approval.

View 360 is produced by Voice of America and is aired on Aaj TV from Monday to Friday at 7:00 pm.

Similarly, Sairbeen is produced by BBC, which too is broadcast Monday through Friday at 11:00 pm.
