ISLAMABAD: Mazhar Tufail who joined Capital TV only in February has resigned as the channel's Islamabad bureau chief.
A source tells JournalismPakistan.com that Tufail developed differences with the management over lack of clear editorial policy.
He was also reportedly unhappy over the channel's anti-Geo TV stance, delay in payment of staff salaries and the humiliation meted out to reporters.
Mazhar who arrived at Capital TV on February 19, submitted his resignation on May 2.
Rana Qaiser, a former Resident Editor of Daily Times, is likely to replace Tufail.
