Capital TV set to launch website

ISLAMABAD: Capital TV is set to launch its website www.capitaltv.pk in the first week of January to keep its viewers and readers updated on the latest happenings.

A JournalismPakistan.com source says the website would be a bit different than those of other television channels that normally publish just news and videos. He said the website is being designed in a way that it would almost be like a newspaper or magazine. "Features, blogs and opinion articles will also be published on the website besides routine stories," he said.

The website is currently under construction but the source said the staff can still access it.

Shahzad Raza, anchorperson with Capital TV will be the editor and senior journalist Shahzad Badar the website's deputy editor.
