Abb Takk Bureau Chief resigns

ISLAMABAD: Abb Takk Television's Bureau Chief in Islamabad has quit citing media's destructive role in the current political impasse.

Farrukh Tanveer Malik was also reportedly upset over the poor financial health of media workers many of whom are underpaid and do not get their salaries on time.

Farrukh was the pioneer Bureau Chief of Abb Takk, a sister channel of Apna Television, Apna Entertainment and Kook.

However, a source in Abb Takk said Farrukh was asked to resign by the management.

Abb Takk was launched in April 2013.
