Shots fired at City 42 office
Gunmen attacked the City 42 Television office in Lahore, firing shots but causing no casualties. This incident has incited protests among journalists across the country.

LAHORE - Gunmen on a motorbike opened fire at the office of City 42 Television Sunday. There were no casualties.

The channel that airs local news said its office located on the busy Jail Road came under attack. The attackers got off the motorbike and fired shots before fleeing. Police have started investigations.

The attack was the second on a news channel inside a month. On January 13, gunmen hurled grenades at the office of ARY News in Islamabad and fired several shots that left a staff member injured.

Meanwhile, Sunday's attack angered journalists who have announced countrywide protests Monday.
