Robbery foiled at journalist Imtiaz Alam's home
Imtiaz Alam, a prominent journalist, faced an attempted robbery at his residence in Islamabad. The security guards successfully prevented the intrusion, prompting Alam to question the police's ability to catch the culprits.

ISLAMABAD—Senior journalist and general secretary of South Asian Free Media Association (SAFMA), Imtiaz Alam, said on Thursday that robbers attempted to break into his home; however, the security guards foiled the attempt.

Alam condemned the attempt and said that earlier this year, six robbers had also ransacked his home.

He questioned the police's role in tracing the perpetrators.
