PEMRA warns ARY Digital and TV One
PEMRA issued a warning to ARY Digital and TV One over indecent content aired on August 28 and 29. The regulator emphasizes the need for adherence to decency standards.

ISLAMABAD – Electronic media regulator PEMRA has issued a warning to ARY Digital and TV One for airing indecent content.

“The content aired is offensive to the commonly accepted standards of decency and exploits cultural and religious values of viewers,” a PEMRA media release said.

The regulator told the erring channels to be mindful that airing such content in the morning shows may cause discomfort to the family members. It also violates various PEMRA clauses and the Electronic Media Code of Conduct 2015.

The objectionable content was shown on August 28 on ARY Digital and the following day by TV One.
