Dawn.com editor passes away
Musadiq Sanwal, the Chief Editor of Dawn.com, has sadly passed away due to lung cancer. He was 50 years old and is survived by his family and colleagues.

KARACHI: Musadiq Sanwal, Chief Editor of Dawn.com passed away on Friday after battling lung cancer.

Dawn.com said Sanwal 50, is survived by a wife and two children. He will be remembered for his dedication to journalism, his staff and love for music, it said.

His funeral prayers were held at the Imambargah Yasrab in Karachi's DHA Phase IV Friday. He was to be buried in his hometown Multan on Saturday.
