ISLAMABAD – Abid Abdullah, a Jang Group executive, kidnapped Wednesday in Peshawar has been freed by his kidnappers, a journalist who spoke to him told JournalismPakistan.com Thursday.
“He arrived safely at the Geo office in Islamabad and is fine,” he said. Several unidentified armed men abducted him after intercepting his car. Abid was visiting Peshawar in connection with work. The reason for his kidnapping was not known.
