ARY team faces lawsuit after exposing corruption in Railways

ISLAMABAD: Railway authorities have filed a lawsuit against an investigative team of ARY News that caught officials red-handed taking bribes to transport illegal weapons from Karachi to Lahore, the channel reported.
The program Sar-e-Aam that has also previously unearthed big stories is hosted by Iqrar-ul-Hasan. ARY reported two members of the team were also arrested. Several politicians condemned filing of the law suit. Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan called for resignation of Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique.
Sheikh Rasheed of Awami Muslim League (AML) said the ARY team should be praised for what it did.
